Location:
Jannet is located on the south
coast of Guernsey, to reach the
beach you will need to park at
Icart Point and then walk for
about fifteen minutes around
rugged cliff paths to access the
beach.
Swell/Wind Direction:
For the break to work well it
requires a good SE/S swell
combined with very light winds.
Tidal State:
The break is at its best on
average to neap tides between
6.5 - 7.5 metres.
Notes:
The shore break is best between
mid and high tide where the angle
of the beach tends to be at its
steepest. On big springs the tide
tends to move to quickly from the
best part of the sandbank, to the
boulders at the base of the
cliffs, or to the flat sand at the
bottom of the beach.
